US comedian ‘warns’ Afrikaner ‘refugees’ [video]

An American comedian has called out Afrikaner “refugees” hoping to experience a better life in the US after leaving South Africa under President Donald Trump’s resettlement programe.

This comes after the controversial president accused local authorities of “racially discriminating against’ white South Africans.

According to reports, the first group of the minority group is expected to arrive in the US next week.

US TIKTOKER’S WARNING TO AFRIKANERS

On his TikTok account, US comedian Nick Harron issued a warning to Afrikaners hoping to obtain refugee status in the US.

He said, “You’re going to have a bad time. There is no white genocide happening in South Africa. You have crime that is happening as a result of racism fuelled generational economic inequality.

“The same thing is happening in America. We’re just a couple of decades ahead of you on the unchecked capitalism timeline.”

Harron went on to sarcastically elaborate on the “good news” that awaited Afrikaner “refugees”.

He continued: “You don’t have to worry about the cheap exploited labout rising against you anymore. Because now that you are in America, YOU will get to be the cheap, exploited labour.

“If you were middle class or upper middle class in South Africa, and you come to America, you’re poor now! Like really poor! You’re not going to have maids and gardeners.

He added: “Come to America and experience the capitalism that Elon Musk has been raving about to you. There is little chance of you going back to South Africa in a year or two after realising how overpriced and f**ked up America is”.

GOING OR STAYING?

While many Afrikaner South Africans have expressed interest in living in the US, others have declined Donald Trump’s invitation.

Days after Trump issued an Executive Order permitting white South Africans to seek asylum in America.

AfriForum – an NGO promoting the interests of Afrikaners – in particular rejected to bid, citing expenses, inconveniences, and the potential loss of their culture.

The organisation’s Kallie Kriel told the SABC back in February: “The Afrikaners became a people on the southern tip of Africa. We will not survive as a cultural community anywhere else in the world.

“People who are leaving would know that their children would not be Afrikaners anymore. The prices are too high to pay. We want to find an urgent solution.

“This would be a detriment to all the people of this country. We are loyal to the people of this country. We will not turn our back on a place we call our home”.

DO YOU THINK AFRIKANERS HAVE A RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO LEAVE OR STAY?
