Kaizer Chiefs have officially unveiled their new away jersey for the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season. The club revealed the new Kappa strip ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The jersey features a black base with bold gold shoulder panels. A jagged gold and dark grey graphic stretches across the front, giving the shirt a unique and aggressive look.

The iconic Amakhosi badge sits on the left chest, opposite the gold Kappa logo. The shirt also features the familiar Vodacom sponsor on the front and Toyota branding on the sleeve.

Kaizer Chiefs crafted the away jersey from recycled textured fabric. The club also equipped it with HYDRO-WAY PROTECTION technology to keep players and supporters cool and comfortable.

BUILT FOR THE KAIZER CHIEFS FAITHFUL

Explaining the concept behind the new jersey, the Glamour Boys said it combines performance with the club’s identity.

“Built for the gold and black faithful, the Kaizer Chiefs Men’s KOMBAT™ 2027 Game Shirt brings together performance comfort, bold club identity and modern football style. Made from recycled textured fabric, this regular fit shirt is designed to feel light and comfortable while carrying the unmistakable energy of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club.

“Featuring HYDRO-WAY PROTECTION technology, it helps keep you feeling fresh through match days, fan moments and everyday wear. The short-sleeve design is finished with a sharp V collar, shoulder inserts, bottom side inserts and back collar detailing, giving the shirt a strong athletic look with signature Kappa style.”

MODERN DESIGN, CLASSIC IDENTITY

The club believes the new away shirt reflects the spirit of the Amakhosi. It also delivers the performance expected from a modern football jersey.

“The heat transfer Omini logos on the chest and sleeves add a clean performance finish, while the silicon Kaizer Chiefs team logo stands proudly on the chest. With its striking black and gold design, this shirt is made for supporters who represent Amakhosi with pride, passion and confidence.”

The official away jersey includes:

  • Recycled textured fabric with HYDRO-WAY PROTECTION technology.
  • Regular fit with a V collar and performance inserts.
  • Official club branding with silicon and heat-transfer detailing.
