Uncle Waffles has been making all sorts of headlines of late after her song Tanzania surpassed the million views mark on YouTube in three days. Uncle Waffles’ risqué video for her smash hit “Tanzania” has topped expectations reaching a million views on YouTube just three days after its release.

However, she joins a few musicians who have reached the mark in only 72 hours on the streaming platform. Of interest is that the video was barely dropped six months after she released her debut EP, “Red Dragon”. The EP has been a success across all streaming platforms and has since taken her to greater heights like BBC Radio. In the wake of her newfound fame, she has found herself securing the bag like it’s her last.

Multi-Grammy Award winner Drake has since made his affection for Uncle Waffles known. He has since posted several sets of Waffles and pictures of her on his social media platforms. The amapiano DJ recently announced her residency on BBC Radio 1 in the UK. Last year she was one of the most booked DJs in South Africa and had several shows across the globe, and it seems she is singing from the same hymnal this year too.

According to Waffles, the music video has hit the million views mark in 3 days! The video features Sino Msolo, Boi Bizza and Tony Duardo and is directed by the up-and-coming director. Taking it to social media, Uncle Waffles posted:

Eswatini National DJ broke the internet after posting a clip on Twitter turning the tables and sending the crowd into a frenzy. She became a global phenomenon in a blink of an eye after being followed by USA RnB artist Drake. No doubt, many still credit Drake for being behind her thrust into stardom.
