Tyla to perform at Afronation 2026

Global music sensation Tyla is set to make history once again as she headlines Afro Nation 2026, one of the world’s biggest Afrobeats and urban music festivals.

The Grammy-winning South African star will take center stage from July 3 to 5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, The Algarve, Portugal.

The announcement sent fans into a frenzy across social media, celebrating yet another major achievement for the Water hitmaker.

Tyla will share the stage with a powerhouse lineup that includes Nigerian icons Wizkid and Asake, as well as American rapper Gunna and R&B star Mariah The Scientist.

Having Tyla and Wizkid as headliners marks a proud moment for African music, highlighting the continent’s growing influence in global entertainment.

Fans are particularly eager to see Tyla and Wizkid perform their hit collaboration Dynamite from her acclaimed We Wanna Party mixtape, a live pairing that’s expected to be one of the most memorable moments of the festival.

Adding to the anticipation, Gunna who worked with Tyla on Jump will make his Afro Nation debut this year, bringing an exciting international twist to the lineup.
