How did the Tyla x Roc Nation rumours start?

The false claims of a partnership between the South African singer and the American company grew after an edited picture of a billboard in Times Square welcomed her to the Roc Nation family.

Popular names linked to the company include

X user @Samsonthegoat25 claimed that Tyla completed her time with Epic Records and chose not to renew, adding, “Tyla reportedly caught the attention of Jay-Z, whose admiration for her music led to a direct call to her and her team.”

The social media user further alleged, “A lucrative multi-million dollar deal was quickly agreed upon, and the announcement was later unveiled in New York’s Times Square. The announcement came with Jay-Z flashing the Illuminati hand sign.

While the rumours circulated online, there was no official statement from Roc Nation nor confirmation from Tyla’s management proving the partnership.
