South African music star Tyla continues to make waves globally as she bags another major win.

The Water hitmaker has been honoured as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year, joining an exclusive list of powerful and inspiring women making their mark around the world.

Tyla proudly stands out as the only African recognized with this prestigious title.

Celebrating her achievement, Glamour wrote: “Everyone wants to party with Tyla. ✨ The 23-year-old Grammy-winning singer and global #GlamourWOTY has quickly become a household name due to her infectious music while creating viral moves we’d probably all replicate if our waists would cooperate.”

The magazine praised Tyla’s journey, describing her rise from her South African childhood to global superstardom as destiny in motion.

“Her childhood in South Africa was training for this exact moment in superstardom—and she’s just getting started,” Glamour added.

As Tyla gears up for her highly anticipated tour across Asia, she continues to cement her status as one of the most influential young artists shaping global pop culture.
