Ty Dolla $ign and KWN head to South Africa
With a catalogue that spans R&B, hip-hop and pop, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, Ty Dolla $ign has established himself as one of contemporary R&B’s most recognisable voices.
Joining him is British R&B artist KWN, whose emotionally charged sound and distinctive approach to the genre have quickly made her one of the UK’s most exciting new voices.
Together, their performances set the tone for WAV 2027, a festival that celebrates where R&B comes from while making room for where it is going next.

More about the WAV Festival
More than a music festival, WAV, which has partnered with Bernini, sits at the intersection of music, culture, fashion and connection, bringing global sounds into conversation with African creativity and perspective. The festival is rooted in the timeless spirit of R&B while offering a contemporary experience shaped by the cities and communities it enters.
Following its debut in Cape Town in 2026, WAV will now expand its footprint to Pretoria, giving audiences across South Africa two opportunities to experience the festival across one weekend.
