Mamelodi Sundowns could lose two of their players this transfer window as they continue to attract European teams.
Although the Brazilians were eliminated in the group stages of the FIFA Club World Cup, their performance caught the eye of a few European teams. Two players who have impressed are Lucas Ribeiro and Khuliso Mudau.
According to Soccer Laduma, French giants AS Monaco have inquired about Mudau. Two other clubs are also interested in the Mamelodi Sundowns’ right back.
“There have been more enquiries, mainly after the Club World Cup but the main one is from French Ligue 1 club Monaco. They have shown interest in him and it is now all up to the two clubs whether they will agree on the move or not,” the source told Soccer Laduma.

“The talks have never stopped. All the involved parties have been talking and Sundowns have made it clear that they want to keep Mudau at the club. And with this interest from Monaco in France they are believed to be working on his new contract as soon as they can to secure his future,” another source told the publication.
Ribeiro has been exceptional since joining The Brazilians back in 2023. He was the best player in the league last season and is a favourite to claim the PSL Player of the Year award.
The Mamelodi Sundowns forward have been linked with Turkish giants Trabzonspor and French Ligue 2 club Saint-Etienne.
Back in Brazil, local media have reported that Fluminense, one of the teams Ribeiro faced in the Club World Cup, is said to be eager to bring him home.
