Tsaka RSA Remains in Custody After Crimen Injuria Court Appearance

Lekompo musician and content creator Nkgodisheng Paul Madubanya, popularly known as Tsaka RSA, appeared in the Lebowakgomo Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday, 13 October 2026, on a charge of crimen injuria.

The 27-year-old’s case was postponed to 23 October for a formal bail application. He remains in custody, according to the Limpopo provincial police.

The charge stems from allegations that Madubanya posted vulgar and insulting remarks about a popular radio DJ on social media. The complaint was lodged at Lebowakgomo police station in 2025 before the matter was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions, who authorised his arrest.

Madubanya was arrested on 9 October during an intelligence-driven operation at his home in Rethabile Gardens, Polokwane, after police executed a warrant in connection with the social media case.

During the operation, officers allegedly recovered a 9mm Norinco pistol with its serial number filed off, along with dozens of rounds of live ammunition.

The firearm and ammunition led to a separate criminal case, which appeared in the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 12 October. That matter was postponed to 19 October for a formal bail application. The state has indicated that it will oppose bail.

The two cases are being handled separately, with the crimen injuria charge relating to the alleged social media posts and the second case concerning the firearm and ammunition.

Madubanya is known for his Lekompo music and has attracted attention through his social media activity. The allegations against him have not been proven in court.
