Truter Laments Finishing, Happy With Clean Sheet

Sekhukhune United will be looking to better their New Year’s Eve performance in the DStv Premiership Limpopo derby against Marumo Gallants at the Peter Mokaba Stadium tonight.
United played to a goalless draw against 10 men AmaZulu in their last game of 2022, a result coach Brandon Truter felt was not good enough.
Truter told the media that though they dropped points at home he appreciated the clean sheet, adding that his side’s decision-making and finishing can be better.
“Our structure was very good and our counter pressing as well but I think our finishing, our decisio- making can improve tremendously,” Truter said.
“That’s what we need but there is so little time in between this game and our next game that our most important training session becomes the recovery session.
“But we will analyse, we will get the players to observe and see what went wrong (against AmaZulu), but for me it’s two points dropped at home but the positive is that Sekhukhune, we got a clean sheet.
“It’s been a while so that is the positive but I feel even the boys feel we have dropped two points at home.”
Ba bina Noko are second from bottom on the log with 12 points, a point adrift of Gallants who sit in 13th place both from 13 matches.
