Truter Drops Swallows Bombshell – iDiski Times

Former Swallows coach Brandon Truter has not held back and slammed his ex-club for not paying him, revealing he will take them to the PSL DC.

The AmaZulu FC coach was over the moon after returning to Dobsonville Stadium with his new troops and collecting maximum points on Tuesday evening.

The result came after he was fired by the ‘Dube Birds’ in November 2021 after a 13-match winless run, and after the match the AmaZulu interim coach spilled the beans on how he and his family were threatened before his Swallows exit, while he also not been paid off yet.

“First and foremost, I really don’t wanna sum up the game. For me it’s all about the result today, it means a lot to me and I want to thank the boys also for putting in a shift and getting those results,” Truter told the media.

“It means the world to me and I wanna thank God as well for the opportunity given for prayer’s answered as well, I’m just over the moon for the results.

“Of course, the way I left Swallows wasn’t nice. What the public knows is what happened on my exit from the club, my family was threatened, supporters came to my house, supporters came to the training. They basically forced me out the door, wanting me to resign but of course to resign means there’s no settlement, no pay-out or anything like that.

“I had to stand brave and protect my family at that moment, of course, there was a buyout clause on my contract that Swallows also held at that moment, so I couldn’t leave out of my free will, and basically, I was threatened.

“I mean supporters stopped the bus at one stage, security didn’t protect me and I have videos, SMS, messages to prove this. So I’m not lying or making up stories, it’s there for everybody to see.”

Brakkies also opened up on Swallows owing him money, saying he had a non-disclosure agreement in his contract, but since he’s not getting paid he’ll reveal the truth and take the club to the PSL.

“It’s just negotiations on the settlement, there was a clause that I couldn’t speak to the media about these things but they’ve bridged that agreement by not paying the settlement, so they haven’t paid me as well,” he added.

“So that again they’ve bridged and that again, I’m going to PSL to get my money. So now we can talk freely about these things, so these results means a lot to me.”

Truter has collected 10 points out of possible 12 points since he joined Usuthu and he’s yet to lose a game as AmaZulu FC interim coach.
