After their 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows on Thursday, an emotional Brandon Truter said he was considering his future as Sekhukhune United coach.

Brandon Theron scored the only goal in Thursday’s DStv Premiership fixture at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

It was a result that left Truter perplexed, and the Sekhukhune coach said he was considering his future, as the team needs a conducive environment to thrive.

“As a coach, you always have to have all the answers and you have to have faith and instil belief in the team and in players, but at the same time you’re never short of being criticised, you are never short of being told what to do,” Truter said after the loss.

“You are never short also of people telling you what you’re doing wrong but at the end of the day, you have to face the music with mistakes like that in the last third. I thought our approach play, an our build-up play was good until the last third.

“But if the ball don’t want to fall for you right if you have a 3-v-1 with the goalkeeper and still misses and so many chances, the opponent have one shot on target and a goal, then maybe your problem is not on the field.

“That’s what I’m thinking at the moment. I’m really considering my future because we need a conducive environment for the team to grow. At this moment, I’m not the happiest and I’m a bit emotionally charged. And I think that is my interview guys at the moment.”
