Trevor Noah to host the Grammys for the 6th time

Trevor Noah is set to take centre stage at the Grammy Awards one last time, closing a remarkable chapter as the face of music’s biggest night.

The Recording Academy and CBS have confirmed that the comedian and global star will return as host for a historic sixth and final time when the Grammys take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on 2 February.

His farewell appearance marks the end of an era that has seen Noah bring sharp humour, warmth, and cultural relevance to the prestigious ceremony.

This year’s show carries added significance for Noah, who has also been named executive producer, further cementing his influence on the event.

With six turns as master of ceremonies, he now stands just behind legendary entertainer Andy Williams, who hosted the Grammys seven times during the 1970s.

The production team has praised Noah’s contribution to the show, with executive producer Ben Winston describing his impact as “truly spectacular,” a sentiment echoed by fans and industry insiders alike.

The night will also be a personal milestone for Noah, who enters the ceremony as a nominee.

His children’s story, Into The Uncut Grass, has earned a nomination in the Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category, placing him among this year’s contenders.

The 2026 Grammys are expected to deliver major moments across the board, with Kendrick Lamar leading the nominations with nine nods for his sixth album, GNX.

The ceremony will air live on CBS at 8:00 pm ET, with international viewers able to catch the broadcast in India at 6:30 am IST on 3 February.
