Tongues Wagging After Zuma And Ramaphosa Pictured Laughing Together At ANC NEC Conference

Former President Jacob Zuma and President Cyril Ramaphosa were seen laughing together on video at the ANC National Elective Conference in Nasrec on Friday, just hours after Zuma announced his intention to privately prosecute the president.
Zuma launched a private prosecution against Ramaphosa on the eve of the conference.
The former president wants Ramaphosa charged as part of the ongoing private prosecution of NPA advocate Billy Downer, whom he accuses of misconduct for leaking his medical information to the media.
He claims that Ramaphosa, as South Africa’s president, is a “after-the-fact accessory” in the alleged criminal offense.
Zuma alleged that Ramaphosa did not act when he complained about the inappropriate behavior of advocates Downer and Andrew Breitenbach SC.
Ramaphosa retorted, saying Zuma was abusing the legal system and that the case was hopeless.
The Jacob Zuma Foundation, on the other hand, claimed to have a legal certificate from the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) allowing Zuma to privately prosecute Ramaphosa.
Ramaphosa and Zuma were captured on video laughing and shaking hands just hours after the drama began.
