Mamelodi Sundowns FC face Marumo Gallants in a crucial Betway Premiership encounter on Tuesday evening.
The Brazilians have the chance to go two points clear after rivals Orlando Pirates dropped points over the weekend.
They will however have to get the job done without some key players! This is as a result of a triple suspension blow.
Sundowns trio suspended for Gallants clash
Coach Miguel Cardoso will be without three key players tomorrow night at Loftus.
Jayden Adams, Khuliso Mudau and Aubrey Modiba are all serving suspensions! Mudau and Modiba are serving one-match suspensions after accumulating four yellow cards.
Adams on the other hand is sitting his second game out, following a red card against Golden Arrows earlier this month.
Downs could pull ahead
A victory over Gallants will see Sundowns pull two points clear of Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers currently have 48 points after 21 games. Masandawana on the other hand have 47 points from 20 games.
While a two point lead is nothing major, given the context of the league, it could prove to be the difference come May 2026.
Sundowns are also still competing in the CAF Champions League. Miguel Cardoso will undoubtedly be hoping to open up a gap over Pirates before things get hectic on the continent for his side.
