Western Cape: At 19H50 Saturday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N2 Kanana in Cape Town.
Reports indicate that three pedestrians were struck down while walking on the road.
The driver of the vehicle who had struck down the three patients was not found on the scene.
It was alleged by a passer-by that the vehicle had not stopped after the collision had occurred.
Medics assessed the scene and found that one of the patients had sustained critical injuries and the other had sustained serious injuries.
Both patients were treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
