The victims, all believed to be in their thirties, were allegedly set alight by community members who accused them of criminal activity.

The bodies of the men were discovered on Laboheme Street at approximately 10 pm.

The community allegedly took justice into their own hands instead of involving the police.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has since launched a murder investigation into the deaths.
