Tragedy in Mpumalanga: Three men shot dead inside a Mercedes-Benz

Three men were fatally shot in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga, on Friday while travelling in a charcoal Mercedes-Benz with Gauteng registration plates.

  • Police found the vehicle riddled with bullet holes and recovered several cartridges at the scene.
  • A manhunt has been launched, but no arrests have been made.

Three men were fatally shot in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga, on Friday while travelling in a charcoal Mercedes-Benz with Gauteng registration plates.

The motive behind the killings remains unknown, and police have since launched an investigation.

Emergency personnel and police found the vehicle riddled with bullet holes, with all three victims suffering severe gunshot wounds. 

Two of the men were declared dead at the scene by paramedics, while the third succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Police recovered several cartridges from the scene and have launched a manhunt, though no arrests have yet been made.

The incident has left the local community shocked and unsettled.
