Having grandmothers is an honour for most families because they serve as anchors and carry a wealth of wisdom and heritage. This sentiment applies to Thobeka Majozi and her family, who remain grateful for the long life their matriarch has lived and the pivotal role she holds within the family.

THOBEKA MAJOZI’S GRANDMOTHER TURNS 95

The 1st of March marked the 95th birthday of Thobeka’s grandmother. In a video shared by her on Instagram, she wrote that her grandmother is the pillar of the family, and they’re blessed to still have her around.

Thobeka’s Instagram tribute to her grandmother as she turned 95 reads as follows:

“I’m a walking manifestation of my grandmother’s prayers. I’m such a Gogo’s girl, and today we celebrate 95 years of walking word and wisdom. The anchor of the family. The root of our faith.”

“The well we still drink from. Blessed to still have this pillar that continuously breathes Christ’s life into us with the little life left in her. The realest [real] experience of what God feels like in human form.”

THOBEKA MAJOZI: ‘GOD’S GORGEOUS GIRL’

Thobeka, who is mostly known as Cassper Nyovest’s baby mama, shows a strong commitment to her Christian faith, which is seen in the many faith-inspired content on her Instagram page.

According to this post about her grandmother, Thobeka also describes her as the “root of our faith”, clearly indicating that she comes from a family that worships the Lord.

In January 2026, Thobeka posted a video of her testimony in front of a church congregation, where she opened up about how a practical approach to her relationship with God isolated her from the ways of the world and brought her back to him.
