Thobejane Shares Thoughts On Mako & Ofori

Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane has sent his well wishes to both Paseka Mako and Richard Ofori after the unfortunate incident at Peter Mokoba Stadium.
Mako and Ofori collided in the injury-time of Orlando Pirates’ goalless draw at Baroka, with Ofori’s knee seemingly hitting his teammate.
Bucs co-coach Fadlu Davids confirmed that Mako was initially unconscious but regained consciousness before being transported to hospital in an ambulance.
Thobejane, meanwhile, explained why he himself was not seen close to the pitch as the emotional scenes played out.
“I’m afraid of blood, that’s why you didn’t even see me enter the pitch,” Thobejane told local journalists after the match, with iDiski Times journalist Lethabo Kganyago present at the stadium.
“I’m afraid because Mako is my brother in law it will affect me big time.
“We wish him a speedy recovery, even Ofori we wish him well.”
We wish Paseka Mako a speedy recovery!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Paseka Mako, who left the pitch at Peter Mokaba Stadium in an ambulance.
