Baroka FC head coach Kgoloko Thobejane says the support from club management has been good despite the lack of results recently.

Bakgaga find themselves at the foot of the DStv Premiership table with 17 points from 24 games after collecting just one win from their last six outings.

The coach, though, has insisted the club’s management has been encouraging.

“With management, everything the situation is conducive and it is supportive. They are supporting us with everything, words, whatever, they are with us, we are together in this situation,” Thobejane said on Thursday.

The Limpopo side is coming off a defeat in the league in midweek and are preparing for the Nedbankcup quarter-final derby against rivals Marumo Gallants on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba stadium.

The coach believes his charges need to improve in the scoring department and as coaches they will need to try other combinations in an attempt to solve their problem.

Though maintaining that his players are feeding off the positive mindset from the coaches’ resilience, Thobejane says he might wring in changes for the quarter-final.

“You have to feel that pressure. You have to be stressed and with the stress it’s about how you manage it,” he added.

“We are stressful that we are not scoring and it’s enough time for these top men who are playing, how do we do it, how do we support them.

“Even to themselves, if this is the case that out of nine or 10 games not scoring goals or only one game, to them it’s even more stressful.

“At some stage as coaches, we need to sometimes relieve them, come up with something that can support them, because we have players.

“If only we can believe strongly that changing can bring results it’s good. It is only if we don’t believe and we don’t understand sometimes as a technical team to say this one can’t.

“But if we are together in this situation to say now in this Nedbankcup let’s go all out and make sure we make the changes and see if it happens it will give us a way to say we can solve this problem of not scoring.”
