Thembisa Mdoda reacts to divorce rumors

Media personality Thembisa Mdoda has finally broken her silence after rumours about her marriage began circulating widely on social media.

Speculation suggested that the Our Perfect Wedding host and her husband, Abie Nxumalo, were experiencing serious marital problems, with some reports alleging that divorce papers had already been served after five years of marriage.

The rumours quickly gained traction online, prompting fans to flood Thembisa’s timeline in search of clarity.

Reacting to the claims over the past weekend, Thembisa dismissed the reports in her trademark unfiltered style, making it clear that she was unbothered by the gossip.

“That’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Happy Saturday, guys,” she wrote.

Earlier reports had claimed that a domestic dispute in 2024 led to Nxumalo moving out of their Fourways home following a “big fight” linked to his alleged toxic associations.

However, Thembisa’s response suggested that the viral narrative was far removed from reality.

Following her post, social media users reacted with relief and humour, with many encouraging her to ignore the rumours.

That’s, literally, the dumbest thing I’ve ever read😂.

Happy Saturday, guys❤️.
