Musician Lwandle ‘Ocean L’ Ndaba featured his father, veteran actor Themba Ndaba, in his latest song titled Ndaba Testament to appreciate him.

The song forms part of his first EP, which celebrates family, faith, and legacy. Ocean L shared that his father is a true definition of a present dad, not only physically but by supporting his dreams and goals.

Themba, who is popular for the role of Brutus Khoza that he played on The Queen, did not only lend his voice to the song, but his songwriting skills as well. Commenting on this, his son said: “The verse that he added to the song touches me, giving me the send off of too success, joy and love.
I thank you pops.”

Ocean L shared that he feels ready to tackle the world.

“Paving my own way and building my dream life because of this I feel more ready than ever to tackle the world, putting God in the centre of it all makes even sweeter. I want to thank the whole Ndaba clan for standing behind me I’m blessed to have the family that I have, I dedicate this song the Ndaba Testament to my whole family,” he penned.

He also shared that as he starts his music career, he hopes to make his family proud.

“As I start my music career full force I pray that I make my family proud of me and grow the Ndaba name and put it to even greater heights than it is today.

“Continue to stream my first ever EP, and I pray that it gives you the energy to help you over come anything in this world, through your troubles and appreciating the good times and understanding of true optimism and achieving all the beautiful things in life.”
