Quite a few celebrities who attended the ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ premiere on 12 December 2024, stepped out in some breath-taking African-inspired outfits.
Well-known South African stars such as Boity Thulo and Anele Mdoda celebrated their African heritage in gorgeous dresses. Some of them took to social media to share their looks for the night that are to be desired.
‘MUFASA: THE LION KING’ PREMIERE
The ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ movie premiere took place in South Africa in Johannesburg at Ster-Kinekor IMAX Eastgate. The cast has top local actors Dr John Kani as the voice of Rafiki and comedian Kagiso Lediga as the younger version of Rafiki. The production will be released in cinemas on 20 December 2024. BOITY THULO
Popular rapper and TV personality Boity Thulo looked fabulous in an African-inspired look complete with a headwrap. She wore a plain high-waisted skirt with matching off-the-shoulder top and headwrap.
ANELE MDODA
Anele Mdoda looked eye-catching in a white stripe printed umbhaco dress. The radio personality accessorized the look perfectly with simple jewellery.
SACHA FEINBERG-MNGOMEZULU
Another well-known face that was spotted looking cool and casual in all-white as Stormers and Springbok player Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
LORRAINE MOROPA
Actress Lorraine Moropa looked ravishing in red with her African-printed style. She accessorised the outfit with a cute bag and beaded round Zulu hat.
DR JOHN KANI
Veteran actor Dr John Kani stepped out in a black and white ensemble. He stylishly completed his outfit with cool sneakers and a hat.
LASIZWE DAMBUZA
Media personality Lasizwe Dambuza kept it simple and stylish in an all-white ensemble with animal skin fashion accessory.
CANDICE MODISELLE
Actress Candice Modiselle wowed in a long floral-printed dress with sexy side slits and accessories.
RAMI CHUENE
The bubbly Rami Chuene also was showing off a white dress with floral print. The actress was pairing it with bold gold accessories.
