It took his overall tally to nine in World Cup history, just seven off the all-time record of Miroslav Klose.
He’s two ahead of his nearest rivals with Lionel Messi, Marcus Rashford, Cody Gakpo, Enner Valencia, Alvaro Morata, and his Les Blues teammate Olivier Giroud on three goals each.
