Friends, family, and colleagues have gathered at the San Salvador Catholic Church in Germiston today to bid a final farewell to the much-loved South African journalist, Tshidi Madia.

Madia, a prominent figure in South African media, was known for her work as a political reporter and analyst.

Her career saw her contribute to various platforms, where she earned a reputation for her incisive questions, unwavering commitment to truth, and her ability to simplify complex political narratives for the public.

Madia tragically succumbed to complications related to a short illness last week. The news of her death left many in shock and sorrow, as tributes poured in from across the country, highlighting her impact on journalism and beyond.
