Cristiano Ronaldo stole the headlines of the weekend’s Uefa Nations League matches as the Portugal captain netted his 901st career goal.
Starting from the bench, the all-time great came on shortly after half-time with Scotland leading Portugal 1-0.
Bruno Fernandes got the equaliser; and as he has done so many times in the past, Ronaldo completed the comeback with a late winner.
Portugal now sit atop Group A1 with two wins from two while Croatia occupy second spot after their 1-0 victory over Poland.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Spain defeated Switzerland 4-1 while Denmark beat Serbia 2-0 to stay top of Group A4.
In Group A2, Italy beat France 3-1 while Belgium defeated Israel by the same scoreline on Friday.
France will now face Belgium on Monday night football with the winning side set to occupy second spot if Italy get the job done over Israel.
On Saturday, the Netherlands beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-2 with Joshua Zirkzee and Cody Gakpo both getting on the scoresheet.
Germany’s 5-0 thrashing of Hungary leaves them top of Group A3, though, with the Netherlands set to face them on Tuesday.
England kicked off their Group B2 campaign with a 2-0 win over Ireland as Declan Rice and Jack Grealish found the back of the net in Lee Carsley’s first game in charge.
