Thami Ndlala Foundation Pledges R9 Million For Free Legal Aid

The Thami Ndlala Foundation has pledged R9 million to SP Attorneys to provide free legal representation for poor and marginalised South Africans facing potentially unlawful arrests.

The announcement was made days after businessman Thami Ndlala was arrested and released on R10,000 bail in a case involving intimidation and extortion charges linked to allegations by media personality Blue Mbombo, which he denies.

The case has been postponed to 20 November 2026 for further investigations.
