Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems is set to touch down in South Africa this March.
The global star is expanding her empowerment platform, the Leading Vibe Initiative, with a South African edition scheduled for 21 March 2026.
The programme, launched last year, is designed to create space and opportunity for emerging women in music, particularly those working as artists, songwriters and producers.
After hosting impactful sessions in Lagos and Nairobi, Tems is now bringing the movement further south, continuing her mission to support women who are often underrepresented in the industry.
The initiative targets creatives between the ages of 18 and 35, offering curated sessions that unpack the art and business of music.
Participants can expect mentorship opportunities, networking sessions, masterclasses and hands-on studio experiences powered by Native Instruments.
The goal is not only to sharpen technical skills such as songwriting and production, but also to equip attendees with practical knowledge about navigating the music business.
Applications for the South African edition are currently open and will close on 28 February.
By choosing to invest her time and influence into development rather than performance, Tems is reinforcing her commitment to building sustainable pathways for the next generation of female music creatives across the continent.
