Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela has admitted that more police are needed, including detectives, to improve the conviction rate and make communities safer.
Mawela was speaking to eNCA after the Portfolio Committee on Police visited the Tembisa Police Station.
It’s among the top 30 police stations where the most crimes are reported.
