South African winger Percy Tau has received high praise from one of his former Al Ahly teammates.
Former Al Ahly forward Junior Ajayi, who made 161 appearances for the Egyptian giants and lifted 10 trophies, spoke about his time with the Egyptian giants.
Among the topics discussed, the Nigerian striker also rebuffed criticism of Tau and Luis Miquissone.
“I spent five years at Al Ahly and those years are the most important in my life. I had the privilege to play with many legends at the club,” he said as per Kingfut.
“Luis Miquissone and Percy Tau are among the best signings for Al Ahly, but they just need time to show their potential.”

Ajayi also briefly discussed his relationship with Pitso Mosimane after he only 26 appearances under the south African tactician.
“When Pitso Mosimane arrived, I was playing even before the Champions League final against Wydad Casablanca but I felt he wanted new players.
“I spoke to him later and told him I knew that I was leaving but he was open and honest with me.
The 26-year-old left Al Ahly in February after his deal was terminated due to a series of injuries and added competition following the arrivals of Tau and Miquissone.
He initially joined Libyan side Al-Nasr Benghazi before returning to Egypt and signing with Smouha in July.
