  • Three suspects accused of murdering e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat have abandoned their bail application.
  • The accused appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates Court, where they now face premeditated murder charges.
  • Fellow e-hailing drivers continue to protest outside the court in memory of their colleague.

Three suspects who have been arrested for the gruesome murder of 22-year-old e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat have abandoned their bail application.

The group appeared before the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday morning. Their matter has been postponed to 23 February 2026.

The trio made their first court appearance on Monday, as e-hailing drivers demonstrated outside the court.

The suspects, including a 25-year-old woman and two males aged 26 and 30 years old, have further been charged with premeditated murder.

The 25-year-old woman, Dikeledi Mphela, and her alleged accomplices, Goitsione Machidi and McClaren Mushwana, kept their heads bowed throughout court proceedings.

This as cameras recorded their every move. There was no objection to filming the suspects due to the already viral dashcam footage, where they are seen torturing the slain e-hailing driver.

In the video that’s been making round on social media, a female suspect can be seen pinning Isaac down in the driver’s seat during the attack, until he becomes unconscious.

They were all arrested separately this past weekend, following a manhunt by Gauteng SAPS.

Meanwhile, fellow e-hailing drivers are still protesting outside the court, in memory of their fallen colleague.

#Pretoria: The case against the three suspects have been postponed to 23 February.

The suspects; Dikeledi Mphela, Goitsione Machidi and McClaren Mushwana, will be held in policy custody.

They’ve requested Legal Aid representation.
