Sho Madjozi has officially kicked off a new chapter in her life, and this one is titled – motherhood.
The Tsonga rapper, renowned for her hit song “John Cena”, has recently taken the “You can’t see me” page out of the playbook of her favourite WWE superstar, by going missing in action only for her to later return to social media and announce that she is now a mother.
In a post that gained the reactions of thousands of adoring fans, Sho, whose birth name is Maya Wegerif, shared a gallery of images displaying her pregnancy journey during a maternity shoot in which she shows off her baby bump.
Meanwhile, the last slide shows her in the delivery room minutes after giving birth, while proudly glancing at her newly born little one.
Captioning her post, she wrote, “Y’all go ahead and enjoy Friday without me. My dream to become a mom has finally come true.”
Friends and fans alike rushed to the comment section expressing their admiration.
“Our next president might have just been born. With a mom like you, the possibilities are endless. We love you, mama,” wrote actress and reality TV star, Pearl Tusi.
Also in the comments was Jennifer Bala, wife of the singer Loyiso Bala, who wrote, “Aww, congratulations to you and your family! Enjoy your little blessing and bonding time.”
Her recent post comes at a time when there has been much speculation on her love life and alleged pregnancy.
Last month, a source close to the singer told Sunday World that she had recently hosted a baby shower and was “overjoyed” about the prospect of becoming a mother.
