SuperSport United midfielder Jesse Donn believes that his side can bag a much-needed DStv Premiership win against Chippa United this afternoon (17:30) at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
However, he knows that Matsatsantsa are going to have to keep errors to an absolute minimum.
The past few weeks have been a nightmare for the Tshwane side as they conceded seven goals in their last three games, failing to register a win in the process.
SuperSport succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows in their most recent outing. “We were in a good position to grab an excellent win against Arrows, and we made a few mistakes, but it’s very important that we learn from that game and move past it very quickly if we want to do well against Chippa,” said Donn.
“Chippa are a different opponent, and therefore the preparation and approach for that game will be different, and we have to focus on that.”
The Tshwane giants are in eighth place on the DStv Premiership standings, three points behind sixth-placed Stellenbosch.
“I believe we have the talent and the players to get all the three points against Chippa. The performance in our last game was good enough for a win, but our mistakes cost us, and hopefully, we can limit them,” concluded the 22-year-old Donn.
