Sundowns & Summerfield Dynamos Line-Ups Confirmed

Mamelodi Sundowns and Summerfield Dynamos have named their starting line-ups for this evening’s Nedbank Cup quarter-final.

The DStv Premiership champions are clear favourites for the 6pm encounter against Clinton Larsen’s ABC Motsepe side at Loftus Stadium. Dynamos are champions themselves after clinching the regional KwaZulu-Natal title recently.

Sundowns have never suffered defeat to lower league opponents, and while Larsen’s team features a number of former professionals, the odds are strongly in the favour of the Tshwane-based South African giants.

Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena’s team have already won the MTN8 trophy this season, and are on the track to defend their Premiership title. They are also still very much alive in the CAF Champions League, and many are predicting that Masandawana could do a ‘quadruple’. 

But with one Pretoria team already upset this weekend, after Tshakhuma’s 3-2 comeback win against SuperSport United, Sundowns will need to be put in a professional shift to progress.
