Mamelodi Sundowns and Stellenbosch FC confirmed their starting lineup for this evening’s DStv Premiership match day eight at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
After booking a place to the MTN8 final this past weekend, busy Sundowns will welcome Cape Winelands side Stellies in the capital city. Masandawana have a chance to put a new record in the DStv Premiership after equalling Kaizer Chiefs record last Wednesday by beating Orlando Pirates.
The league champions haven’t lost a league match in more than a year now and they sitting on 31 match unbeaten run. Rulani Mokwena’s side is sitting top of the table after seven out of seven wins.
Despite not making it to the final of MTN8 final, Stellies are definitely motivated coming to this fixture after beating Pirates 1-0 but they were knocked out on away-goal rule. The Cape Winelands side started life without Sibongiseni Mthethwa on a good note they will aim to continue.
The young squad of Stellies have mountain Molotov to climb this evening as they’ve won only one game against Sundowns in Pretoria in the last seven matches.
