Mamelodi Sundowns recorded a 2-0 win over Mildford FC in a league match played at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday night.
Iqraam Rayners opened the scoring in the first half before Antonio van Wyk doubled the lead late in the second half.

SUNDOWNS BEAT MILFORD FC
The Brazilians went into this encounter as strong favourites, especially after Orlando Pieates’ 4-0 win over Kruger United.
Sundowns needed to keep up with Pirates who moved to 13 points after five games as they had 10 points ahead of the Milford clash.
And Miguel Cardoso’s side did not disappoint although the visitors gave a good account of themselves throughout the game.
Early in the first half, both teams created some goalscoring chances but failed to put the ball into the back of the net.
Just before the half-time, Sundowns left-wing-back Aubrey Modiba won possession just outside the box, and he passed the ball to Rayners who easily netted.
And Van Wyk sealed the win for Sundowns with his first league goal of the season in the second half to hand his team all three points.
Consequently, Sundowns went level with leaders Pirates who are on 13 points but the latter has a better goal difference.
