Mamelodi Sundowns could wrap up the DStv Premiership title this evening when they host Cape Town City at Loftus Stadium at 19h30 – and here is the two teams will line up.
Sundowns are currently on 57 points, and need just a point to secure their fifth consecutive title. Of all the teams currently trailing Sundowns, only City could mathematically finish as high as 58 points, but that would meaning win all their remaining fixtures, including this one.
Eric Tinkler’s team are currently third, with 40 points with six games remaining, 17 points behind leaders Sundowns.
The two clubs have met twice this season, once in the league and once in the MTN8 Final. Both matches ended level, but Sundowns were victorious in the cup final via a penalty shoot-out.
