Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s DStv Premiership encounter at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Red-hot Sundowns look to make 10 wins in a row this evening when they host struggling Chilli Boys.
Rulani Mokwena’s side has been in phenomenal form, as they haven’t conceded a goal in the last seven games and won their last nine matches in a row.
Chippa, meanwhile, are on a four-match winless run, having lost two of them.
In addition, the Eastern Cape-based side have never beaten Downs in a league match since they got promoted in 2012.
Overall, Downs are unbeaten in nine direct clashes with Chippa across all competitions, winning six of them and keeping a clean sheet in their last three.
A win for the Chloorkop-based side would extend their lead on top of the log to 13 points, meanwhile, a win for Chippa would end their four-match winless run and take them to fifth.
Peter Shalulile has finally made his long-awaited return to the Masandawana squad, being named on the bench by Mokwena alongside Erwin Saavedra, who also makes long-awaited return.
Here’s how they line up:
Sundowns XI: Williams, Mudau, Modiba, De Reuck, Mvala, Mokoena, Mkhulise, Zwane, Allende, Domingo, Mailula.
Subs: Onyango, Ngobeni, Shalulile, Jali, Kekana, Mbule, Sirino, Saavedra, Kapinga
