Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Hilal Omdurman have announced their starting line-ups for their CAF Champions League group stage clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The 2016 CAF Champions League winners kick-off their group stage journey in continental club competition against a familiar face in Sudanese side Al Hilal.

Downs are coming to this game with a good run in their domestic league having won 15 games in a row and making it to the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.

In the last seasons, Masandawana didn’t have a problem when it comes to the CAF group stages especially playing at home.

Hilal, who have won 29 Sudanese League titles, are not new in this competition as this is their fourth time in a row making it to the group stages.

With the experience of Democratic Republic of Congo mentor Florent Ibenge they will hope to make it further this season.

They’ve signed a few players to add to their team as they want to compete, including the highly rated DRC midfielder Fabrice Ngoma.

These two sides faced each other on four occasions so far and Sundowns won three of those games and one ended in a draw – Hilal are yet to score in South Africa.

Here is how they line up:

Sundowns XI: Williams, Mudau, Mvala, Kekana, Modiba, Mokoena, Maema, Allende, Mkhulise, Mailula, Shalulile

Subs: Pieterse, Lebusa, Ngobeni, Morena, Jali, Kutumela, Zungu, Motupa, Ralani

Al Hilal XI: Ashren, Ibrahim, Abdelrazig, Diouf, Eltahir, Eldin Khidr, Abagna, Ajagun, Saaed, Abdelrahman, Makabi
