TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi has made a daring prediction ahead of their tie against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Mpumalanga side struggled for the past seven matches, where they failed to score or collect maximum points.

They sit 11th on the table, two points above bottom-placed Swallows and Sekhukhune. But Sukazi, whose team has the second-best defensive record, is confident their goal drought will come to an end against Chiefs.

Head coach Sead Ramović is also expected to be back for the match that starts at 19:30. But it is the beating of his drum and meeting Chiefs supporters, whom he says have been waiting for him, that Sukazi looks forward to more.

ON FACING CHIEFS

“Soccer City should be the place where we unlock this goal drought. I have never seen such a situation in my presence in football for the longest time,” he said.

“So, I am saying it’s been dry in the country, let’s go do Soccer City Madoda, I am sure we are going to see a rain of goals. I have a drum to play, so Kaizer Chiefs supporters have been waiting for me, and so are our supporters. I think we are going to have a great day together.

ON RAMOVIC’S RETURN

“The truth in football is that coaches don’t play. They can be the best in the world, but it depends on the day. So, I still believe that our coaches are great in what they are doing, but then they don’t play.

“We also need the element of luck. If you watched our games, we have dominated every opponent we have played against in the last 10 games, but for some funny reason, we have been having a lack of luck when it comes to the convention of the chances.”

“I Hope tomorrow (Wednesday) will be the day, but even if it’s not the day, it’s not a train smash. The goals will come, and soon as they come, I think we will win games,” said Sukazi.
