Stellenbosch FC were crowned the new Champions of the DStv Diski Challenge after defeating TS Galaxy 2-1 on Saturday at the Tsakane Stadium.

The Capetonians who sat at the summit of the log only needed a point to secure the league title.

The Rockets drew first blood scoring 40 minutes into the game thanks to Daanyal Danya’s goal.

Five minutes later, Antonio van Wyk levelled the matters and the teams went to the break tied on 1-1.

In the second half, van Wyk completed his brace in the 65th minute as the Cape Town outfit cruised to a 2-1 victory making them, the 2021/22 DStv Diski Challenge champions.
