Job summary
SPAR Lowveld, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd. is recruiting for a DC Systems Network Administrator, at its Distribution Centre, located in Nelspruit.
Key Performance Areas
Daily monitoring of all servers / systems to ensure online availability, active services, and prevention of “unhealthy” systems occurrences
Attend to daily / weekly housekeeping procedures to ensure compliance with Audit requirements
Management of User Accounts and Active Directory
Ensure the PC Replacement document & IT Asset Register is always up to date
Ensure proper safekeeping of all licenses
Check daily status of Backups and ensure security of Backup media
Monitor Users data files and disk space and encourage clean-up of old data
Correct issues found on the Qualys report
Schedule the installation of all new equipment
Assist and Coach the Network / Desktop Administrators when required
Ensure documentation is produced for all complex tasks
Liaise with SGIS & DC Systems Manager regarding unresolved problems and provide feedback on status of all problems
Ensure all User calls are logged on CRM and follow-up on status of all calls
Provide DC Systems Manager with monthly reports on Network / Systems
Ensure all security alerts are attended to timeously
Assist all Users with the set-up of i.e. Smartphone’s, iPads, etc. for business purpose.
Provide assistance to Management with ad-hoc requests
Matric
A and N qualification
MCSE
3 Years Desktop Support Experience
Network & MS Product knowledge
Good Interpersonal Skills
