The rivalry between South Africa and Nigeria, often seen in music, fashion, and social media, has now moved into a new area: Bolt ride bookings.

On Thursday morning, Nigerian Bolt drivers noticed a sudden increase in ride requests coming from South Africa.

These requests were reportedly made to waste the drivers’ time, adding more tension to the competition between the two countries.

Recently, Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina was forced to withdraw from the Miss South Africa pageant just two days before the event.

This happened after the Patriotic Alliance (PA) tried to block her from competing because they claimed she is Nigerian.

Facing criticism from South Africans, Chidimma decided to withdraw from the Miss South Africa pageant and then entered the Miss Universe Nigeria competition.
