Showmax has renewed the fan favourite reality show, The Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa after a successful season last year.

The first season was filmed in Jamaica, and featured a group of housewives from different South African versions of the show. The cast that kept viewers glued on their screens, serving looks, drama and tea included Christall Kay (The Real Housewives of Johannesburg S1-S2), Nonku Williams (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-S4), Londie London (The Real Housewives of Durban S2), Liz Prins (The Real Housewives of Gqeberha S1), Mel Viljoen (The Real Housewives of Pretoria S1), Lethabo ‘Lejoy’ Mathatho (The Real Housewives of Johannesburg S2-S3), Nonkanyiso ‘Laconco’ Conco (The Real Housewives of Durban S1-S2) and Beverly Steyn (The Real Housewives of Cape Town S1).

While the details about the cast members have not been revealed, the second season will be shot in Brazil. The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South Africa is the spinoff that fans have been waiting for, taking eight of South Africa’s most iconic Housewives on a luxury trip.
