Somizi And Mohale’s Divorce Gets Nastier By The Second, Deets On Their Messy Court Proceedings
We’ve seen some messy divorces in our time, but this is a seriously scary and dramatic one! In case you missed it, one of the many, many relationships which didn’t survive the stress of the pandemic and lockdown was that of Idols SA Judge Somizi Mhlongo and his husband Mohale Motaung.
Back in November 2020, Mohale vacated his matrimonial home and in 2021 he filed for a divorce against his husband. This is after the young man claimed that the Idols SA judge was physically abusing him and had a tendency of making ridiculous sexual demands.

The news of uncle bae abusing the Rhythm City actor trended for days leading to him taking a break from Idols SA and Metro FM. However, Somizi now wants to prove to the court of law that he wasn’t the only one who partook in domestic violence.
According to new reports, it is alleged that the two will air their dirty laundry in Joburg High Court soon. Somizi will testify that Mohale also physically abused him.

But that’s just the beginning of the accusations… It was also revealed that the father of one rejected a mediation proposal as a result of his estranged husband’s unruly behaviour. Apparently Mohale tried prolonging the divorce as he refused to meet with an official from the sheriff’s office to sign a combined summons and a letter rejecting the mediation on August 24 last year.
Finally, they’ll fight like cats and mice for the division of their joint estate as they were married in a community of property. It’s said that the actor didn’t tell the truth when he said he just wanted his clothes and nothing more.
Well, it looks like sh*t is just beginning to hit the fan in this messy court battle.
