Congratulations are in order for Springbok flanker, Vincent Tshituka and his wife, Katlego Monare as the pair recently said ‘I Do’.

The Congolese-born rugby star took on a new chapter in his life, tying the knot in an elegant wedding ceremony over the weekend.

The rugby star fled to South Africa from the Democratic Republic of Congo with his family in 2002 to avoid politically-induced violence. His journey from child refugee to Springbok star; now coupled with this joyous personal milestone, has cemented his status as a symbol of resilience and a beacon of hope in the hearts of many.

The newlyweds took to their Instagram to share their wedding pictures that displayed love and tranquility. In the pictures shared, Katlego stuns in a custom Vonvé Bridal Couture gown, while Vincent complimented her in a black tuxedo. The couple seems to have enjoyed their wedding day, as they also shared pictures of an outfit change, where Vincent wore all black, and Katlego was a beauty embodiment in her gold gown accompanied by a matching neck scarf.

Captioning the post, the couple said: “Sneak peak to Our Forever. Thank to you everybody that celebrated with us and for all the well wishes.”

Katlego also took to their joint TikTok page to share her moments before walking down the aisle.

Another one added: “Such a beautiful lady.”

Sharing in their happiness, yet another internet user commented: “Congratulations guys.”
