South African actress and ordained pastor, Innocent Sadiki, faced a devastating loss when her home burned down to ashes on July 1, 2024. In a heartbreaking video, she was seen sobbing in her husband’s arms while firefighters battled the flames. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Sadiki shared her emotional journey, revealing that she had recorded a sermon the night before the fire, unknowingly preparing for the literal trial her family would soon face. Despite the tragedy, she expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from followers, friends, and family.
The Sadiki family now begins anew, starting from scratch. Millicent Mashile, Sadiki’s twin sister, assured everyone that they were safe by the grace of God. Earlier this year, their church in Mooikloof, Pretoria, closed down after being evicted by their landlord. The congregation held their final service in the building they had occupied since 2023.
