Skeem Saam Actress Innocent Sadiki And Sister Bid Final Farewell To Their Grandmother

Skeem Saam actress Innocent Sadiki and her twin sister Millicent Mashile are currently mourning the loss of their beloved grandmother.

The sisters, who were raised by their grandmother after their mother passed away, took to social media to express their grief and share their heartfelt messages.

Innocent Sadiki, known for her role in the popular South African TV series Skeem Saam, posted a series of photos and videos on her Instagram account, paying tribute to her grandmother.

In one of the posts, she wrote, “Farewell my Queen, my best friend, my love, my Gigi, my everything, my heart, my strength. The day I dreaded all my life. The worst nightmare. That day has come and for the first time, I felt my heart jumping out of my chest. I can’t believe you’re going to finally meet your daughter and my mother again. Your precious baby girl. Have fun girls.”

Millicent Mashile, Innocent’s twin sister, also shared her emotions and memories of their grandmother. Millicent recalled the day she was in labour with her baby Kganya and how she longed to talk to her grandmother during that difficult time. She said, “This was after a complicated delivery with Kganya.

“I was in so much pain. I just wanted to talk to my Gogo, however, I didn’t want her to know I’m in pain. I’m going to miss having a mom and a grandma in her. I can’t believe I can’t call her now; she would have made the pain a little better. I want to call her one more time.”

Both sisters expressed their gratitude for their grandmother’s love and the impact she had on their lives. Millicent added, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord. We were blessed to have been given one of the best. God knew she would be exactly what we needed.

“My heart is filled with gratitude to God for your life, your heart, your love Gogo.” Despite their pain, Millicent also acknowledged that she is relieved her grandmother is no longer suffering. She said, “But I’m happy you are no longer in pain. It’s been a tough couple of months, you fought my queen.”
