Siya Kolisi shows off winter style with purpose

Whether on the rugby field or in the fashion spotlight, Siya Kolisi continues to set trends for South Africans and fans worldwide. Just in time for winter, the Springbok captain unveiled the latest piece from his FOM x Kolisi lifestyle collection: a sleek, all-black jacket designed to be versatile, stylish, and meaningful.

Kolisi shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, showing off the jacket’s clean lines and effortless fit. “It can be casual, semi-formal… here at the back, Siya Kolisi. Short for the line. It’s coming out in winter, you can pre-order soon, cheers,” he told fans, who were quick to praise the new piece.

Social media buzzed almost immediately:

  • @vvdmerwe87: “Stunning @siyakolisi would love to get one of them ❤️.”

  • @capetownballoon: “Nice shaping and proportions.”

  • @masilumasipa: “This is dope.”

Fashion with a cause

The FOM x Kolisi collaboration isn’t just about style. Launched in 2018, it began as a simple shoe line and has grown into a full lifestyle range that supports community projects in Zwide and beyond. Unlike typical celebrity endorsements, Kolisi is an equity shareholder in the brand, and each launch features a charitable component, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Kolisi Foundation.

The new jacket is the centerpiece of what Kolisi calls the Style with Purpose initiative, a heritage piece designed to age gracefully while giving back. Fans are excited not just for the fashion statement, but for the impact it promises to make.

From Johannesburg to the NBA All-Star Game

While he’s building his fashion legacy at home, Kolisi is also rubbing shoulders with global stars abroad. The captain was recently spotted in Los Angeles attending the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, joining a star-studded lineup including Barack and Michelle Obama, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Hollywood icons like Jessica Alba and Queen Latifah.

The NBA even gave Kolisi a shoutout on social media, celebrating his dual status as a sports and style icon:

“🏉x🏀 Champions recognise champions. 🇿🇦 Siya Kolisi, Springboks captain and world champion, live from the NBA All-Star Game 🌟.”

For Kolisi, this season is about more than rugby victories, it’s about blending purpose, style, and global influence, showing South Africans that giving back can look good.
